Should we cancel Halloween because of COVID-19? At Atelier Candide, we say no!
The next few months will be difficult, whether it is due to the pandemic which has lasted for more than 6 months or the weather, we all need a little madness to brighten up our daily lives. Here's why we've put together a list of 3 ways to celebrate Halloween during a pandemic. Take your witch hat, let's go!
We are all now used to "video chat" conversations, why not take the opportunity to organize a virtual Halloween party? No cleaning to do the next day, no noise for the neighbors, do you mind? You could even spice up your evening with a costume contest! Use your imagination to make sure you get the most out of this Halloween night!
We're not going to hide it, when a place is decorated it helps a lot to "get in the mood". Why not take the opportunity to make your own decorations by reusing what you already have at home? Be creative and if you have children, take the opportunity to have a good time with them.
Here are some DIY ideas for Halloween:
Avoid the damage following the cutting of pumpkins and go for an original option! Why not paint your halloween pumpkins, they will stay beautiful for longer.
You just need an old piece of cloth or a few napkins, a marker and a piece of string and you're good to go! Add a string between each ghost and create an original Halloween garland!
Use old glass bottles to create a haunted house centerpiece! For a spookier look, paint the bottle black or fill it with plastic bugs
It only takes a few searches on the internet to find hundreds of recipe ideas with a "Halloween" theme. You will find all kinds of ideas regardless of your culinary skills!
